The Elephant & Castle is at the head of Dawley High Street.

By Car

Turn off Springhill Road (B4373) onto Station Road, Dawley (left turn if heading from the North / Telford Centre / M54).  After about 150 yards, turn right into Station Road Car Park (just after large single-storey Royal British Legion building).

The postcode for SatNavs for the car park is TF4 2NW.

The car park is right behind the Elephant & Castle.  This car park holds well over 100 vehicles but, in the unlikely event that it should be full, proceed from the exit, straight ahead to George Street Car Park, with spaces for about 80 more vehicles.  Both car parks are newly modernised, well-lit and with C.C.T.V. coverage.

Buses: Arriva buses 1 & 2 (South Telford Circular) and 9 (Telford – Much Wenlock / Bridgnorth) stop at the other end of Dawley High Street, less than a couple of minutes’ walk away.  These can all be caught at Telford Bus Station.  From Telford Central Railway Station, you need to catch any bus (about 15 per hour) to Telford Bus Station.  The best value is to get a Telford Dayrider ticket, valid for all journeys made in the town on the day of purchase.

Arriva has finally provided an updated bus map of Telford.  When we find a way of making the file small enough, we’ll put it on this page!
